Breakfast

Bed and breakfast Snowdonia

Our breakfasts at Coed Mawr Hall are legendary. Our generous Full Welsh Breakfast (with vegetarian option) uses only the freshest ingredients from our local butcher and sets you up perfectly the day – whether it’s taking on Snowdonia, walking, cycling, or enjoying the mountain views from our beautiful garden.

Enjoy our breakfast bar with freshly baked pastries, fresh fruit and cereals. We also offer a second option for those who would like something a little lighter, such as smoked salmon and scrambled eggs.

Local Pubs and Restaurants

If you are looking for somewhere to dine in the evening then we like to think we have some fantastic options not far from the B&B.

The Ty Gwyn Pub- Rowen
Ten minute walk, 01492 650232
We consider ourselves very lucky to have this gem on our door-step. This is a lovely, family run village pub that serves wholesome, fresh food. Our favourites are the Lamb Shank, the Steak and Ale Pie and the Pork Belly. It helps that the route through the field is rather pretty too! You’ll find a map to the pub at the back of this folder. Please note that Sunday last food orders are at 7pm

The Groes Inn- Rowen
Five minute drive, 01492 650545
The Groes Inn is great alternative for local dining as it is only a five minute drive from us. The menu offers a slightly greater selection of dishes than our local as this is a larger operation. They also have a rather nice beer garden with lovely views of the valley.

The Tal Y Cafn- Colwyn Bay
Less than a ten minute drive, 01492 650016
This is a stylish restaurant that has only recently opened and The chef prides himself on locally sourced ingredients and we are happy to say that the menu has not disappointed. If you are looking for something a little more special, than pub fare then this is the place for you.

In Conwy

Watsons Bistro- Conwy
Ten minute drive,01492 596326
Sunday last food orders 8pm
If you fancy a treat or a special night, we recommend this place. Mr Watson is head chef and his wife runs front of house. Their passion for food is evident by the attention to detail in every dish. We love it here.

Erskine Arms, Conwy
Ten minute drive, 01492 593 535
We are delighted that this restaurant has recently opened in Conwy, the menu has a good mixture of old and new dishes and the atmosphere is warm and relaxed. If you find yourself hungry and in Conwy we advice you stop here.

The Albion Ale House was voted the Guardian as one of the best pubs in the world and this Local Pub is regularly in the Good Food Guide.  A great place to stop off for dinner.
