Our Breakfasts

At Coed Mawr Hall breakfast truly is the most important meal of the day! We pride ourselves on sourcing the most delicious and fresh local produce available and offer a variety of breakfast choices including continental options and of course our classic full breakfast with meat sourced from Edwards of Conwy, our local award winning butchers.

We offer a delicious vegetarian breakfast as well as our popular vegetarian breakfast bagel and we are more than happy to cater for all dietary requirements.

Finally you can wash it all down with a pot of Welsh Brew tea or a cafetière of locally roasted coffee.

Eating Out

The Ty Gwyn Pub- Rowen
Ten minute walk, 01492 650232
We consider ourselves very lucky to have this gem on our door-step. This is a lovely, family run village pub that serves wholesome, fresh food.  It helps that the route through the field is rather pretty too! You’ll find a map to the pub at the back of this folder. Please note that Sunday last food orders are at 7pm

The Groes Inn- Rowen
Five minute drive, 01492 650545
The Groes Inn is great alternative for local dining as it is only a five minute drive from us. The menu offers a slightly greater selection of dishes than our local as this is a larger operation. They also have a rather nice beer garden with lovely views of the valley.

The Tal Y Cafn- Colwyn Bay
Less than a ten minute drive, 01492 650016
The third most local restaurant to us, serving one step above your usual pub food and only a shirt drive away.

In Conwy

The Jackdaw- Conwy
Ten minute drive, book online – www.thejackdawconwy.co.uk
If your looking for something a little more special we recommend this place. After working for seven years at Heston Blumenthal’s The Fat Duck, local boy Nick Rudge has returned home to open The Jackdaw. The food is, of course, delicious!

Erskine Arms, Conwy
Ten minute drive, 01492 593 535
The menu has a good mixture of traditional pub style dishes as well as those that are a little more adventurous and the atmosphere is warm and relaxed. If you find yourself hungry and in Conwy we advice you stop here.

The Albion Ale House was voted the by The Guardian as one of the best pubs in the world and is the perfect place to stop for a drink while exploring Conwy. www.albionalehouse.weebly.com
