It would surprise many of you to know that we are less than 3 hours from London by train.
By Train from London
- Leave London Euston to Chester (around 2 hour journey time)
- Leave Crewe to Llandudno (around 1 hour journey time)
- We will organise transportation from the station which will take less than 20 minutes
By Car
From the A55
Leave the A55 at junction 18 (not junction 19 as this will take you on a longer route), then at the roundabout take the 3rd exit on to the A546 towards Conwy.
From Conwy, follow the B5106 towards Trefriw. When you reach the castle take the first left at the roundabout. Keep following the road, which takes a sharp turn round to the left up a long steep hill. Continue on wards.
Keep going along the windy roads and you will find ‘The Groes Inn’ on the right. Take the next immediate right, signposted Rowen.
Follow this road until you see ‘Conwy Water Gardens’ on the right. We are the second right turning from this point. Keep going until you see the 30mph sign and signs for Rowen. You will then see the sign for Coed Mawr Hall.
Turn immediately right…Coed Mawr Lodge will now be on your left as you go down the drive. Continue along the drive until you reach Coed Mawr Hall & Cottages.
Turn right and drive ¾ mile up our private country-drive.
From the A5
Take the A470 signed Conwy and turn left at the Tal Y Cafn pub. Cross over the railway and the bridge and follow the road round to the left. Once you have climbed the steep hill turn right on the B5106.
(The Red Lion pub is opposite you at the top of the hill.) Drive for two miles and then there is a steep hill going down towards the Groes pub on the left. Turn left just before the Groes, signposted Rowen.
Follow this road until you see ‘Conwy Water Gardens’ on the right. We are the second right turning from this point. Keep going until you see the 30mph sign and signs for Rowen. You will then see the sign for Coed Mawr Hall.
Turn immediately right…Coed Mawr Lodge will now be on your left as you go down the drive. Continue along the drive until you reach Coed Mawr Hall & Cottages.
By Boat from Holyhead
Coed Mawr Hall is only 50 minutes drive from Holyhead.
