Welcome to Coed Mawr Hall Bed & Breakfast and Cottages
We are a husband and wife team who have been happily hosting guests at Coed Mawr since 2014. The house and cottages have an elevated position and command a stunning view over the nearby mountains and valley beyond. We have six luxurious B&B bedrooms in the main house, all individually decorated and each with en-suites and roll top baths and three pet-friendly self-catering cottages.
Positioned centrally between the coast and the mountains, this is the perfect spot for an escape to the country . Nearby you will find the stunning Bodnant Gardens , the historic town of Conwy and Sea-side resort Llandudno. Hill-walkers will be able to enjoy all that the Snowdonia National Park has to offer, especially as the house sits at the foot of Tal y Fan mountain. So whether you’re planning on reaching the peak of Mount Snowdon, a day trip to Anglesey, or simply a relaxing break in the welsh countryside, we aim to provide the perfect base for an unforgettable holiday.
Covid 19 information
Coed Mawr Hall is a privately-owned B&B. Our current cancellation policy, of two weeks notice, will remain in place while the UK and Welsh Governments allow us to be open and do not restrict your travel. However, when this is not the case, there is no cancellation fee or commitment for you to move your reservation. Although we do not take a deposit, card details are required to secure your reservation and are used to charge cancellations.
We are passionate about reopening in a safe way, and we need your support to do that. We do ask that if you, someone in your household or colleagues are unwell to not visit us until you are feeling better.
We will invoice your room bill by email and all bills will need to be paid by card, by the evening before check-out. You will be able to settle your room bill at any point during your stay. If you wish to pay by a different card to the one you have used to secure your booking, you will need to let us know in advance, otherwise we will charge your bill to the card details that we have.
On arrival, everyone will be asked to use the hand sanitiser provided in the entrance. Hand sanitiser will be provided throughout our spaces for all to use. We’re also introducing a no-touch policy, so a warm welcome but no handshakes for the moment unfortunately.
We are fortunate to have a very spacious ground floor entrance with a large lounge for guests to use.
Breakfast will be served as room service for the time being. This is to best look after our guests, our staff and our family.
Guests will be able to choose from the following: Breakfast rolls that can include bacon, sausages and eggs. Breakfast bagels that can include halloumi, smashed avocado and eggs. Fruit salad or compote with yogurt and granola, chocolate or jam croissants, orange juice, tea or coffee.
Depending on government announcements please be aware that additional changes may have to be made in accordance with health and safety measures that are introduced.
