A note to our bed and breakfast guests
For the last seven years we have absolutely loved running the house as a bed and breakfast however this year we’re doing something a little different. After a crazy couple of years we have decided to take control, and a year out, to spend time with our friends and family. The hall will therefore be available to rent as self-catering for groups of up to 14 for the whole of 2022.
We want you to know that we appreciate every single guest that has visited us over the past seven years, especially those who return time and time again, and we look forward to welcoming you all back to the bed and breakfast in the spring of 2023!
Weekly prices for The Hall are available on our booking system, please get in touch for short stay prices.
Coed Mawr Hall & Cottages
A tranquil spot within the Snowdonia National Park sets the scene for a grand self-catering getaway here in rural North Wales. Within a scene of tumbling hills, patchwork countryside and bluebell woods, this luxury self-catering homestay offers a picture-perfect escape for both families and friends. Traditional on the outside but with flamboyance and flair within, this Georgian Hall has a perfect blend of daring style and unteachable taste.
The Hall brings together a mix of both traditional and modern design that lays the scene for both hipsters and grandparents to find their perfect break away. With all six bedrooms individually decorated and all with an ensuite bathroom complete with roll top bath and separate shower, there’s no denying there really is something for everyone. The traditional Georgian style allows for a lofty living space flooded with light, paired with chandeliers and large enough for the families or parties party to come together to share drawn-out suppers and intricate jigsaw puzzles. A country house through and through, the large country style kitchen really is the place which really brings groups together.
When it comes to the itinerary, there’s the historic town of Conwy, walks along the seaside town prom of Llandudno or the jewel in the crown Bodnant Gardens. Those feeling a bit more adventurous then have no fear (or maybe some) as both Adventure Parc Snowdonia and Zip World are both a short drive from the Hall. Of course we shouldn’t forget any trail seekers have the beauty of the Snowdonia National Park literally on their doorstep, with Tal y Fan, the mountain directly behind the house upon which wild horses are often seen and Mount Snowdon a challenge for the most outdoor enthusiasts. Which ever adventure you choose you can come home to a much deserved break in the private hot tub.
Positioned next to the Hall our three pet-friendly cottages provide the perfect retreat for smaller groups and young families. While adventures might include visiting one of the many idyllic nearby beaches, crabbing on Conwy Harbour or visiting lakes and waterfalls, these cottages will be the ideal bolt hole to return to on warm summer evenings and cosy winter nights. Those looking for a more restful experience can spend summery days on the front lawn taking in the view or retreat to the back of the house and make use of the more secluded rear garden.
